Welcome!

Welcome again on my newly arranged homepage. My partner in this is now Steffen Henschel, a bright and creative youngster studying Communicational Design at Mainz University of Applied Sciences. I met him through my long time friend Volker Droege – “VD Design” in Hanau. Volker, Steffen and I did the leisure cargo advertisements for the last five years.

I am also retreating from my international press-work; I simply feel to old now to run from one press event to the next. I rather concentrate on the book I am writing and I want to spend more time with my family.

We all  in Germany were sad not to reach the top in the soccer world cup.But fact is that one does not have any reason to hide marking third in this tournament of 32. Bravo ! – And it was fun and glorious during some of the matches.

I was in Bangkok during the riots – most probably the last time as my health suggests to fly Business Class – and now that I have to live on a slowed down budget – that does not fit. So for a change I took the ICE (before it got so hot) to cover a conference in Basel and a symposium in Amsterdam. And as the status of my invalidity allows me to take one person with me I made use of the opportunity and invited a guest from Cusco in Perú to Switzerland and my youngest grandson, Casimir, to Holland. Does it not look like he could also become involved in transport & logistics.

My other grandson – 15 and 2,01 m tall – started to practice a truly interesting Japanese sport – “Kendo”. The outfit is faszinating and so is the discipline and the philosophy alike.
